Witxes - Winter Light Burns

The 23rd Feedback Loop Label release is a stunning long form ambient excursion. It is a single track at 26 minutes length and much like the other long form releases from the label it continually morphs and deviates from its beginning points. Reminiscent of Neil Milton’s long form releases on the same label there is a certain dark vibe and cinematic textures.

This is a release to set aside time to, to lie back and let the track flow at its own pace. Lovely stuff.

Feedback Loop opens up 2012 with a release from BpOlar, an eerie ambient world is created with field recordings, found sounds and menacing drones. Music for deep thought or simply to get lost in. Although it may be ominous the sounds do communicate subtle warmth and kindness, especially in the track Olibanum which eases softly into beautiful ambient passages.
